Hi future couples - my name is Kayla, and I’m a Lead Planner with Golden Hour Events!
Originally from Hollywood, Florida, I moved to Orlando to earn my bachelor's degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida. During my time there, I discovered my passion for weddings while working alongside Kelsey, whose mentorship inspired me to become a Certified Wedding Planner in 2022.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of planning, coordinating, and assisting over 75 weddings—from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. I specialize in creating personalized, stress-free experiences that reflect each couple’s unique love story. From timelines to design to vendor coordination, I bring a calm and detail-focused approach to every wedding day.

Hi there, I'm Peyton, a Lead Planner for Golden Hour Events!
My hometown was Oviedo, FL, where I started to casually assist weddings at my church. Then, moving to Tallahassee, FL, for two years to complete my A.A, I assisted weddings for another company until moving down to go to UCF's Rosen College. During this time, I also started working for Kelsey in 2024. While earning my Bachelor's in Event Management, I've held leadership roles in the student organization of WEDS, and I've become a Certified Wedding Planner.

Hello! My name is Kelsey Johnson and I am the owner of Golden Hour Events + Simply Enchanted Events. I became a Certified Wedding Planner back in 2015 while working as a Hotel Catering Sales Manager. After working in hotels and resorts for 8 years, I knew it was time to branch out and open Simply Enchanted Events and then 5 years later we now have Golden Hour Events!
