Basic Invitation Details
-
Make sure on the RSVP card you are asking guests for their meal choices (if plated) and always ask about any dietary restrictions – very important!!
-
Create an excel sheet with all the names & addresses & assign a number to each family/couple/person you are inviting. Write that number on the back of their RSVP card. That way if someone RSVPS and forgets to write their name on the RSVP card, you can figure out who they are.

We recommend putting the correct start time for your invitations. So, for example, if your ceremony is starting at 4pm, then list 4pm on your invitations. Now, I always say you know your family best. If your family and friends are known to be late to events, then it is your choice to list 3:30pm for a 4pm ceremony. However, we do try to avoid this as there will be a handful of folks that arrive an hour early, meaning they will arrive at 2:30pm for a 4pm ceremony.

You will receive an etiquette guide in your email to refer back to. However, we highly recommend working with the companies we’ve recommended as it makes the process so much easier!
